My Story

Hi, my name is Susan. Originally from the Isle of Wight, I have lived in Poole for the last 30 years. I am very much an outside sort of person and love camping, cycling or just walking in the rain.

I have been with dogs all my married life, and being self-employed has meant that I have been able to spend nearly every minute with them. For years I have also looked after family and friends pets when they have been on holiday, and this is what inspired me to start my own business.

I can’t wait to meet your furry friends, I’m sure we’ll get along swimmingly.

I am Dog First Aid certified via an ECC (Emergency Canine Care) accredited course. I have full insurance for dog walking and am DBS police checked.

If you have any questions about experience, professionalism or the quality of equipment and transport I use, please contact me.

My Dogs

My two boys both reached a good age but sadly are no longer with me.

Digger was a Patterdale Terrier cross whom I found in a charity shop window in Blandford. I was camping close by and popped into town for a coffee when I saw a notice advertising him in the window. His family were moving abroad and he was being left behind.

Bertie was a Border Terrier cross who was being put back into a dog’s home because his owners could not control him. I heard of his plight through a friend and welcomed him into my home. With hours of patience and training, by both me and Digger, he turned into a lovely well behaved little guy.

Below are a few photos of me and my dogs, showing the fun times we have had together. You can click on any picture to enlarge it.
